Dr Lynne Campbell-Gillies is a Counselling Psychologist, and has a private practice which is located at the Kloof Medical Centre working  with other medical professionals including physiotherapist, doctors, dentists, and a dietician. Dr Campbell-Gillies obtained her doctorate D. Litt et Phil (Psychology), from the University of Johannesburg.

LifeLine/Childline Western Cape offers training courses in Personal Growth, Communication and Counselling Skills, as well as Youth Development Programmes. The courses run throughout the year at the centres in Cape Town, Khayelitsha and Bishop Lavis.

LifeLine offers trained counsellors and a 24-hour crisis telephone counselling service, 365 days of the year, as well as Face-to-face counselling, Bereavement counselling, Trauma de-briefing, HIV/AIDS counselling and Counselling for children.

The goal of LifeLine is to provide training and support to volunteers and staff to enhance community service, provide training and skills development within the private and public sectors, and provide accessible, confidential and non-directive counselling services 24 hours a day.
